Kathryn is a Senior Associate in the Commercial Advisory and Dispute Resolution group at Minter Ellison Lawyers. She practises in competition and regulatory law, both litigation and advice and specifically focuses on the restrictive trade practices, access and consumer protection provisions of Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (previously, the Trade Practices Act 1974). Kathryn holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons I), Bachelor of Economics and Bachelor of Arts (English Literature) from the University of Queensland and a Master of Laws from the University of Melbourne. She has served on the committee of the Women Lawyers Association of Queensland since 2006, including as past Treasurer, Secretary and Vice-President.

Kylie Hillard

Kylie is a barrister at the private bar practising in a variety of areas, but most predominantly in crime and family. She has worked at Legal Aid Queensland in various roles, including in-house counsel. Kylie has also worked at the Commission for Children, Young People and Children Guardian and practised as a solicitor in private practice after completing two year Articles of Clerkship. Kylie has been a member of the committee of WLAQ for three years and was elected Vice-President for 2011-2012.

Barbara is Special Counsel at McCullough Robertson, Lawyers. She has been practising for 24 years primarily in the areas of public sector law, local government, planning and environment law and property development. She has held senior legal positions in government and local government, and at Crown Law. She was also formerly Manager Legal Services, Townsville City Council in the earlier part of her career. Barbara acts for public sector clients including state and local governments as well as a variety of nonprofit organisations in all aspects of their business. She holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Queensland and is undertaking postgraduate studies in Nonprofit and Philanthropy. She has an interest in legal education and is a Sessional Academic Staff member at Queensland University of Technology Law School. She is also an accredited Probity Adviser and Probity Auditor with the Institute of Arbitrators and Mediators Australia.

Genevieve Dee is an Accredited Family Law Specialist and senior associate in Cooper Grace Ward’s family law team. In 2009, Genevieve was awarded the Women Lawyers Association of Queensland Emergent Lawyer of the Year Award. Genevieve has experience in all aspects of family law, including parenting and property matters, financial and relationship agreements, spousal maintenance and child support issues. Genevieve is a contributing author to the CCH publication, Australian Master Family Law Guide and the Queensland Law Handbook. Genevieve is a Councilor of the Queensland Law Society, a member of the Queensland Law Society's Family Law Section and a member of the Queensland Law Society's Committee of Management. Genevieve was also elected Treasurer of the Women Lawyers Association of Queensland for 2011-2012.

Gerowyn is a lawyer in the Corporate practice group at Minter Ellison Lawyers. She is admitted as a lawyer in both the Supreme Court of Queensland and the High Court of Australia. Gerowyn has completed a Bachelor of Laws with Honours and a Bachelor of Arts (majoring in French and Political Science) at the University of Queensland. She also holds a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from the College of Law. Gerowyn's previous work experience includes corporate litigation at Allens Arthur Robinson and corporate tax at Ernst and Young. She has also worked at Sparke Helmore Lawyers, in the Mental Health Chambers of the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions, in criminal defence at Robertson O'Gorman Solicitors, at the Caxton legal centre and in the areas of property law, wills and estates. She regularly volunteers with QPILCH.

Natalia is a lawyer with Suncorp. Her core areas of expertise include banking and finance, corporate and commercial litigation and corporate finance advisory. Prior to joining Suncorp, she worked for the Commonwealth Director of Public Prosecutions and the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions where she appeared mostly in the Court of Appeal. She is an approved mediator with the Queensland Law Society and currently volunteers at a number of community legal centres around Brisbane. Natalia is currently completing a Master of Laws at the University of Queensland where she intends on specialising in the area of international commercial disputes.
