NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
The WLAQ notifies all members that the WLAQ Annual General Meeting will be held on Thursday, 30 July 2026, from 5.30pm to 7:30pm at Maurice Blackburn Lawyers, Level 8, 179 N Quay, Brisbane City QLD 4000, and via Zoom, where the following business will be discussed:
the receiving of reports by the President, Secretary and Treasurer; and
the voting and declaration of results of the election of members of the Management Committee.
The reports that will be delivered at the AGM will form the 2025 Annual Report which will be released following the AGM.
NOMINATIONS
Nomination Forms for a position on the Management Committee can be found below.
Only associate members are eligible to be nominated for the position of Student Member Representative. All nomination forms must be emailed to secretary@wlaq.com.au no later than 4pm on Thursday, 16 July 2026.
If you are unsure of your membership status, please email us or check the FAQ section of the website.
All members will be provided with a list of all nominees by email by Thursday, 23 July 2026.
PROXY
Any member who wants to vote in the election of the Management Committee is to be personally (and physically) present at the AGM, or otherwise complete a Proxy nominating another member to vote on their behalf. The Proxy Form can be found below.
All Proxy Forms are to be emailed to secretary@wlaq.com.au no later than 4:00pm on Friday, 24 July 2026.
