WLAQ is pleased to publish their research in order to provide information to our members about the policy positions of the four major parties in matters that may affect women.

There is otherwise some information available which may have a broader impact, for example:

  • The public service information was included because WLAQ has members who work in the Commonwealth Public Service.

  • The domestic violence information was included because statistically women (and children) are more likely to be the victims of domestic violence. It is also an area of law in which members of our organisation practice.

  • The childcare information was included because it is an area of importance on the lives of working women, including women lawyers.

The source material has also been provided for ease of reference.

The information contained in the document is updated as at 4:00pm on 30 April 2025 (after which time more policies may be released).

Read the research summary below.
